Jicama: Ingredient Roulette

Our May 2021 Ingredient Roulette was Jicama. This is a root vegetable from South America that has a wonderfully crisp texture and tastes like a combination between an apple and a water chestnut when raw. It is perfect in a salad, slaw or as crudité. It has recently become popular to use to make tortillas, fries and even chips! Watch the video and I’ll show you just how to use it!
